Head Coach:
Trish Butler is a nationally ranked masters runner and has trained people of all ages and abilities. A former fitness programer for Bally Total Fitness, Trish is a USATF Level 1 certified coach and CPR/AED certified. She has been a member of the Florida Athletic Coaches Association for the past five years and is entering her sixth year at St. Thomas Aquinas High School. In 2009 she guided the boys to 35-1 record and the girls to 34-2 season record. The boys won the BCAA  Championship  for the fourth year in a row with the girls taking runner up honors. Both teams were crowned District Champions! The Girls were  4A Region 4 Runner-ups and placed 11th in the FHSAA State Finals. The boys Placed 3rd in 4A regional competition and placed 18th in the Fhsaa State Finals.

 Jan. 2010, USATF awarded Coach Butler the 2009 Phidippides Gold Award.

Sept. 2009, USATF certified that Trish Butler earned All American Honors in the Florida  2009 5k State Championship with a time of 18:15

Aug. 16, 2008  Orlando FL , The USATF  Florida Executive Committee Named Trish Butler " Masters Athlete of the Year". 

Coach Butler was named "Girls Cross-Country Coach of the Year" by the Sun-Sentinel in 2005 and 2006. 

In 2005 and 2006 The Miami Herald named Coach Butler as "Girls Cross Country Coach Of the Year". 

2006 and 2007 Coach Butler was Miami Heralds " Boys Cross Counrty Coach of the Year". 

In 2006 Coach Butler a nationally ranked masters runner earned "All American" honors by USA Masters Track and Field in the 1500m at the Miami Elite Invitational .

In August 2006 the USATF awarded coach Butler fl " Masters Runner of the Year."
